There once was child smart
Genuinely mischievous, wild.
Stubbornly unique, apart
To seek adventure, riled.
That once child, suspended
In reality, buried alive.
Insanity, a mind distended
Kept indentured, to strive.
This child, awake at last
 Suddenly, to feel alone.
Desperately hung, saving past
Beguiled, disguised, atoned.
